Java Edition Method
In the Java Edition, players open the creative inventory by pressing the "E" key. The interface appears with several crafting tabs; selecting the "Building Blocks" tab reveals a section dedicated to portal-related blocks. Here, the end portal frame block can be selected and placed directly into the world.
Bedrock Edition Method
For Bedrock Edition users, the creative menu is opened by tapping the inventory icon, typically located at the bottom center of the screen. Similar to Java Edition, the required items are found under the "Structure Blocks" or "Decoration" category. The end portal frame and end portal eye are easily identifiable within these collections.
Constructing the Portal Frame

Place twelve end portal frame blocks in a ring forming a 5x5 square.

Activating the Portal
After the frame is complete, the portal requires eyes of ender to become active. These items are inserted into the frame blocks, filling the missing component of the structure. When the final eye is placed, the portal will immediately generate a purple vortex effect.
Stepping Through
The visual indicator of a successful portal is the presence of a swirling purple texture inside the ring. Standing within this active portal block transports the player to the End dimension. This transition is instantaneous and does not require any additional interaction or timing.
Navigating the End
Upon arrival in the End, players are typically situated on a small island made of end stone. The primary structure, the End Crystal, rests on a tall obsidian pillar directly ahead. Defeating the Ender Dragon requires targeting these crystals to disable its regenerative abilities before engaging the boss directly.
